Eiona Engwall is a 2020 graduate of Eastern Alamance High School where she is active in various clubs, has been presented with many awards throughout her time at Eastern Alamance, and has been a leader in several Honor Societies. Eiona also was dual enrolled at Alamance Community College in 2019.
Eiona is involved in her community by volunteering with Burlington Animal Services providing care and comfort to the animals and mentoring young swimmers with the Dogwood Swim & Dive Team, just to name a few. She has also volunteered with her peers through Eastern Alamance’s DREAM Team, Science Honor Society, Math Honor Society, and Key Club.
Eiona comes highly recommended to AWC as an honorable and humble young lady, a leader among her peers and in the community with a strong work ethic and a positive and encouraging attitude. Eiona plans to attend UNC Chapel Hill in the fall where she will pursue a Biology & Environmental Science degree. On behalf of Alamance Women’s Community we would like to congratulate Eiona on receiving a $1,500 scholarship.
